Presenting....the Masterchefs of Middle Eastern Cuisine!

 

This year, Sydney’s premier Middle Eastern caterers, ‘The George Khouzame Group’ celebrate 25 years of producing events in Sydney. In celebration of this milestone they present the first of an annual foodie event designed to celebrate modern Middle Eastern food, wine, culture and design. The annual event, ‘Master chefs of Middle Eastern Cuisine’ dinner, held on October 15, 2011 at the Ivy’s Grand Ballroom will portray these elements through the eyes of celebrity Middle Eastern master chefs. 

 

Hosted by author, chef and TV Personality, Peter Evans, the degustation dinner menu will include one specialty dish made for the night by world renown chefs including, Greg Malouf (MOMO Melbourne), Joe Barza (International Chef from Beirut) and Shane Delia (Maha, Melbourne) all whom are famous for pioneering Modern Lebanese Cuisine. The dessert will be created by renowned French pastry chef and one of the first creators of popular macaroon biscuits, Vincent Gadan of Patisse.

 

Enhancing this gastronomic feast, the dishes will be matched with established and well known Lebanese winery, Massaya wines as well as Arak from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon.

 

Part of the Crave, Sydney International Food Festival in October, this cultural, culinary showcase is set to be one not to miss on the event calendar.
